It works and fits, but it is sturdier than the original and if you want extra sturdiness, then make it even thicker, because there is still more place for that part. Print the pin as a separate part and glue it together. it will look better, save you time and work better. Please do not re-upload STL or any other mesh version of this project. My Driver side tab cracked in half. It would be a party when on the highway/ move excessively on bumps. Mirror it for the driver side !! PRINT WITH SUPPORTS !! There's a hidden pocket in the tab, you wont see the supports but it will make it print. Creator installed the repair after a cracked driver-side tab caused lamp movement; mirror the right-side geometry for the opposite side and verify beam aim after installation. Hey Guys, i made this Center Console Compartment for my BMW E61. I made it because i had a Phone Holder in my center console which i never used. So i decided to get it out and print myselfe a Compartment. Now i can store more things in my Center Console. I cuted the thing into two parts so you can print it easy. Just glue it together after you printed it. Creator fitted this storage compartment after removing the unused factory phone holder; both complete and split/glue variants are supplied. the bmw e60 vents were very floppy and i went to see what was wrong and some how that small piece in my vent was the whole reason my vents wernt standing straight and working i found one of them so i could design these pieces 1-1 as the original i printed this in bambu black carbon fibre fillament Measured one-to-one from the original clip to restore a loose rear center vent. Made this for a friend because his original case had a crack. The hole is wider then the stock one because we had to use another aux jack. Feel free to remix it because my version is not perfect. For clipping it in you have to use the original metal clips which fits in the sides of the model. Forgot to make a picture of the 3d Printed model. Designed for a replacement auxiliary jack with a wider opening; reuse the original side metal clips. The creator notes this revision is not cosmetically perfect. I edited the clip for E90 made by mrhaze222 so that it would fit in E60 console cover. it should be tight enough to twist it in the hole and strong enough to handle the metal rod,it may get loose a bit if you're planning on taking the cover often so if you want it to hold on longer and be tighter/stronger then you might aswell use the ABS filament but PLA should be enough. It perfectly fits in BMW E60 2003 so it should fit aswell in other models Remixed specifically for the E60 console cover; creator describes the rotational fit and spring-rod retention.
