Original-style and gusset-reinforced replacement variants for the sprung latch inside the center-armrest storage cubby, with creator-stated fitment for 1992–1999 vehicles. The creator also states that mirroring the geometry makes it work for the glove-box latch in the same generation. The source photograph shows the physical latch mechanism and child piece. Independent inspection found the gusseted STL non-watertight, so repair and validate that mesh before slicing. The author reports that commissioned ABS versions lasted about 18 months despite embedded steel wire and changed to SLM 316L stainless steel for expected long-term durability. If printing in polymer, use a tough cabin-heat-resistant material, keep a spare, and verify reliable spring engagement and positive latching before use. Work over a clean surface to avoid losing the original spring; a replacement spring may require a carefully filed groove in the post.
