Fuel-Cap Tether

This fits a BMW F11 and maybe also other BMW cars from around 2015. If the old cable brakes, this is a replacement of the ring at the cap and the cable. The original ring has to be removed from the fuel cap. Be careful not to brake anything else then the turning ring. Use side cutting pliers or a similar tool. The put the new ring onto the fuel cap. If the ring does not fit you can also adjust the width in the attached model and re-export. I used TPU 95 for the print. Nozzle diameter can be 0.25 - 0.4, all work. I printed with supports but this leaves a rough finish. This also leads to the fact, that the ring does not slide as good as the original one. But overall it works. Don't forget to like if you like. Creator reports the TPU replacement fits and works on an approximately 2015 F11, while noting rough support surfaces can make the ring slide less freely. The editable FreeCAD source is retained for measured adjustment. Do not force the ring or damage the fuel cap. Verify dimensions against the original component and confirm full operation before regular use.
