About this part

M42 × 1.5 threaded shifter-plug set for sealed storage and transport of Type E/Rocket and Dog Box transmissions. Includes a solid cap option and a gasketed two-piece cap with a separate TPU gasket; the gasketed option helps keep dust, fluids, and gear oil out of the tail housing when the shifter is removed. Verified applications include Ford Pinto 1600/1.6/2.0/2.3, Sierra 1.6/2.0, Cortina Mk III 2.0 and Mk IV/Mk V 1.6 GT/2.0/2.3, Escort RS2000 Mk I/Mk II, Escort RS Mexico Mk II, and Mustang II 2.3.
