This is a replacement part for the BMW 5 Series Touring (F11). It is the sliding clip ("leash" or "dog") located in the D-pillar track that automatically raises and lowers the rear cargo blind (luggage cover) when the trunk is opened. My Driver side tab cracked in half. It would be a party when on the highway/ move excessively on bumps. Mirror it for the driver side !! PRINT WITH SUPPORTS !! There's a hidden pocket in the tab, you wont see the supports but it will make it print. Creator installed the repair after a cracked driver-side tab caused lamp movement; mirror the right-side geometry for the opposite side and verify beam aim after installation. The mirror adjuster on my E39 stopped moving the mirror in left-right direction, however I could still hear the small motor working. After removing the mirror plate, I found a small plastic component broken. Of course you can't buy this part, only the whole assembly (the one where I marked the pins with red arrows) for 100 USD :). Based on the broken component, I copied the part and printed it. It works perfectly!! Please note that if you need this for up-down motion, you will need to mirror the part before printing. This is the buffer that the arm on the boot/trunk hits to stop it opening too far, if it cracks (which it will) then ultimately it tries to bend the gas struts. Photo shows a broken one and the print. This is for the RHS looking at the rear of the vehicle. The LHS is identical but mirror image. Print this so it stands on the long edge (hole and pin are horizontal) or the the arm will seperate the layers, there is a lot of force there. I used PETG at 100% infill. My BMW E39 was missing some fan grille parts for the rear seats. The CAD drawings have the exact same size as the original parts. So it just depends on how accurate your printer is (I had to sand down some areas). As you can see in the pictures you will also need a small piece of sheet metal that acts as a spring. Update: Few of those broke using PLA 0.8 width, infill 10-25%. I suggest you print with 3 layers width (or more?). I will do a redesign to fix the weak point from printing prescriptive. This is my design for BMW floor mat holder (E36 E46 E38 E39) . Top part fits nice and works like a charm. I would say it even holds better than original one. As for the washer (bottom one) I haven't got it in real life so I've designed whatever I thought was suitable. Tested with PLA. Lay it down to print upside down. Tool-free front cup holder for BMW E60 and E61 models without the factory front cup holders. It avoids replacing or modifying the dashboard and is compatible with manual-transmission cars. The creator developed four prototypes over three weeks. The model is configured with three perimeters and three top and bottom layers and is sized for 500 ml cans. The test piece was printed in PLA, so do not place hot drinks in it. Taller occupants should check knee clearance because contact can push the storage compartment inward. Verify fit, secure retention, and unobstructed operation before driving.

Very basic blanking plate for the E39 BMW 5 Series rear cup holder. The rear cup holder in my E39 BMW has never closed properly and never clipped in properly and EVERY time someone sits in the rear seat it gets kicked. Odd design by BMW as the cup holder keeps the rear air vents in place so when the cup holder falls out so does the air vent. Printed in blue for prototyping! Second design with holes for 2 USB chargers or cigarette lighter sockets. I used the ones with rubber covers from banggood. The clips are very crude. These headlamp adjusters are for the BMW E39 series (5-series from 1996 onwards). The originals are made of some material that gets super brittle with age, and pretty much self destruct. Thus making the headlamps aim far too low, and wobble when driving over the slightest dump. BMWs own solution is to supply new lamps as complete units, price probably approaching $1000. To fix, you need to take the headlamp units apart, which is actually quite easy. There are various instructions on the net, The two manual adjusters simply fully unscrew to release. The third adjuster, connected to a motor, is released by turning the exposed 5mm plastic nut 90 degrees (not all variants have this feature). One word of warning: Do not touch the reflectors, they are very easily destroyed by attempts of cleaning. You need one of each of these per side. They will work for the early halogen units, but may need modification for "angel eyes", and I have no idea about Xenon. Note also that the shape is different from the originals. I believe these may be slightly better - the originals were limited by what you could do with casting.
